Kids Tournament Rules

Morning of Registration and waivers at Carolina Beach State Park Marina begins at 7am. Lines in the water starting at 7:30am. Kids can fish for Red Drum and other fish under the state catch and release rules. Prizes will be awarded for length and weight. Kids 4-8 can fish off the dock with accompanying adult. Kids 8 and older can fish inshore and can be on a boat by request if they do not already have one. Photos must be taken for catch and release. We can provide bait and tackle by request. Lunch is provided.

Weigh station is only at Carolina Beach State Park Marina. Weigh in by 1pm and Awards ceremony will be at 1:15pm. Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in all 3 categories.

Adult Tournament Rules

We welcome large scale fishermen and if you desire to fish inshore you can do so. Prizes will be awarded for biggest Red drum. Registration can be completed the night before on our website to qualify for prizes. $100 entry fee per boat. If you are a single $25 to participate for inshore. We operate on the honor system. Lines in the water starting at 7am. Boats need to be back by 1pm for weigh in. All participants must adhere to state and federal regulations to qualify for prizes. Each participant is required to have a current NC state fishing license and HMS permits.
